Hidden among the branches of high mountain forests is a face that seems almost designed to be remembered. With bright russet fur, neat white markings, pointed ears and dark, inquisitive eyes, the red panda possesses an extraordinary amount of character for such a quiet and elusive animal. Native to the forests of the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China, it spends much of its life among the trees, perfectly at home in a world of mist, leaves and tangled branches. Our Japanese-inspired watercolour portrait brings that enchanting face into focus, celebrating one of the forest's most distinctive inhabitants with all the warmth and personality it deserves.
